The Sahara app requires the following permissions:
● Camera Access: The app requires access to your camera to take photos for attendance verification. By using the app, you consent to allowing the app to access the camera.
● Photo Library Access: The app requires access to the photo library for selecting and uploading images related to attendance.
● Location Access: The app requires permission to access your location for verifying your presence at the designated worksite. This includes both location data when the app is in use (for real-time position tracking) and in the background (for attendance validation when the app is not actively being used).
● Location Data Usage: Your location is used solely for attendance tracking purposes and will not be shared with third parties outside of the internal management system.
● Location Permissions: The app will ask for location access:
○ Always and When in Use: To track your location at all times and ensure attendance is accurately recorded during working hours.
○ When in Use: This allows the app to access your location only when the app is actively in use.
● Staff must ensure the app is used only for its intended purpose of attendance tracking.
● Any misuse of the app, such as falsifying attendance data, sharing unauthorized data, or attempting to circumvent location tracking, will result in disciplinary action.
● Employees are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and ensuring that no unauthorized person gains access to the app.
● All attendance data captured via Sahara will be stored securely within the company’s internal systems.
● Staff data will only be accessible to HR personnel and managers for the purpose of attendance verification and related tasks.
● Location data will be retained for a limited period and used exclusively for attendance verification purposes.
● Access to the Sahara application will be revoked immediately upon termination of employment or reassignment within the company.
● Any misuse or violation of the app’s usage policy may result in suspension of access to the app or other disciplinary measures.
● The company complies with applicable privacy laws regarding employee data collection and use.
● All data captured by the app, including personal and location information, will be handled in accordance with the company’s privacy policies and industry best practices for data security.
By using the Sahara app, employees acknowledge and consent to the following:
